How do I install Praeventus?

Download the installation file from our download page and follow the simple setup wizard. The process takes less than 2 minutes on average.
Is the software free?

Yes, as follows our vision; Praeventus Security is completely free to use with all features included. You may choose to donate to support us and our work.
Does Praeventus work on Mac or Linux?

Currently only Windows 8, 10 and 11 are supported. We're working on Linux versions for future releases.
How do I report a problem or false positive?

Send an email to praeventus.antivirus@gmail.com with a description of your issue and any relevant files. We will notify you via email.
How often are virus definitions updated?

Whenever new threats come out our database updates to protect you against the latest threats.
